WORLD SNOW AWARDS 2015

Established four years ago The World Snow Awards, presented by Telegraph Ski and Snowboard, honour the very best in the world of skiing and snowboarding.

The prestigious awards recognise the best brands, retailers, resorts, operators, venues and personalities in the industry, highlighting the top performers from the past 12 months and the most promising prospects for the season to come.

With 22 awards up for grabs the winners are decided by a judging panel of the leading figures in the UK skiing and snowboarding industry as well as by public vote. The likes of technique guru and celebrity coach Warren Smith and the Telegraph’s ski editor Henry Druce will meet to decide which travel providers and resorts have made the biggest impact and which new kit stands out from the crowd, as well as choosing a worthy winner for the coveted lifetime achievement award – awarded to someone who has made a remarkable difference with their contribution to UK snowsports.

The awards are unique in that they allow the UK public to have their say in a total of six categories including best après ski venue and best ski tour operator. Results from the industry ski and snowboard tests are also compiled to celebrate the best hardware that will grace the mountain next season.

With awards for everything from best mountain restaurant to best UK snowsports retailer, The World Snow Awards celebrate everything that matters to skiers and snowboarders in the UK when choosing how to spend their next trip in the mountains.
