Classic à Juan is a brand new event: classical music concerts in Juan-les-Pins
featuring major stars will take place on the 5th of March, the 1st of April and
the 7th of May at the new Conference Centre in Juan-les-Pins.

learn to wield a lightsabre with the same dexterity as their Star Wars heroes!

Pierre Soulages
Pierre Soulages: An exhibition of works by Pierre Soulages will take place at
the Picasso Museum from the 2nd of April to the 26th, featuring works never
displayed to the public before. The French artist uses walnut stain allowing
greater freedom than oil paints.
Mouratoglou Tennis Academy
In summer 2016, the new Mouratoglou Tennis Academy will open at the Sophia
Country Club. The resort offers 34 tennis courts and is already famous locally
for its tennis-racket-shaped pool.
La Passagère Restaurant
Recently awarded a Michelin star, the restaurant La Passagère at the five-star
Belles Rives hotel and Scott Fitzgerald’s former home, will be renovated in
early 2016 by interior designer Olivier Antoine. The renovations, costing over
500,000 euros, mean that “everything must change so that nothing changes”.

Juan Jazz Festival
This year’s Jazz in Juan festival will feature Archie Shepp, Charles
Lloyd, Gregory Porter and more big names to be revealed! Launched
in 1960, Europe’s longest running jazz festival will take place from
the 14th to the 24th of July, with the televised awards ceremony Les
Victories du Jazz held there on the 13th of July.

Public Swimming Centre
The popular public swimming centre in Antibes, made famous by
Olympic gold medallist Alain Bernard who trained and still swims
there, will be renovated from 2017 to 2019 while remaining open to
visitors. A second 50m outdoor Olympic pool and high-level fitness
facilities will be added.
